In 2025, Sea Logic reached its first 100,000 TEUs. For us, it was a moment to pause and recognise the people and partnerships behind the number: our customers, shipping-line partners and team.
It was also a reminder of the ambition we started with in 2018: to connect people, ports and possibilities.
From a small team to a shared achievement
Sea Logic began as a small team. The early years brought challenges and long nights, but also the opportunity to build relationships through the work itself—understanding a customer’s requirements, following through on a booking and staying involved when a shipment needed attention.
As the business grew, those relationships remained central. Customers placed their freight, plans and expectations in our hands. Shipping-line partners helped make those movements possible. Our team brought the details together.
We celebrated the milestone at our Annual Carriers’ Meet, with gratitude for the support and collaboration that helped us reach it.
What does 100,000 TEUs mean?
TEU stands for twenty-foot equivalent unit, a measure of container capacity. A standard 20-foot container represents one TEU; a standard 40-foot container represents two.
Our first 100,000 TEUs is a cumulative milestone reached in 2025, not a claim about one year’s volume or the number of individual shipments. Behind that measure are many different journeys and business needs.
Growth should still feel personal
A milestone matters most when the values behind it remain visible in day-to-day service. For Sea Logic, that means taking time to understand your business, explaining the options and staying involved from the first conversation through to final delivery.
Based in Melbourne, we serve Australia’s major ports and work with overseas partners across the Indian Subcontinent, South East Asia, the Far East, Europe and Africa. The geography is broad; the starting point is still a conversation about what your shipment needs.
