For imports, identify the overseas supplier, depot or port where collection begins. For exports from Australia, provide the Australian loading point and the overseas buyer’s port or door address. Confirm the named place in your purchase or sale terms and who handles documents and receipt.

Keep consolidation and readiness connected.

For imports from multiple suppliers, identify each collection point and ready date. For Australian exports to one or more customers, agree the packing, consolidation and receiving arrangements at destination. Discuss whether the orders should move together or separately before selecting capacity.

Plan around readiness at both ends.

For imports, connect overseas production readiness with the date goods are needed in Australia. For exports, align Australian packing and collection with your buyer’s delivery window. Confirm capacity and routing for the actual shipment; a departure date is not a guaranteed delivery appointment.
