Warehousing and distribution coordination

The space between.
Thoughtfully managed.

Keep the next destination in view even when goods need to pause. Discuss storage after import arrival or before an export departure, with handling, release and transport coordinated to the agreed scope.

What we coordinate

Between collection
and what comes next.

Storage and onward distribution connected to your wider freight plan.

01

Storage requirements

Discuss your cargo type, volumes and expected storage period so appropriate arrangements can be explored.

02

Handling and release

Plan for how goods arrive, how they need to be handled and when they will be released for onward movement.

03

Distribution coordination

Connect goods with their next destination: an Australian receiving site, export consolidation point or departure terminal. Availability and handling requirements need confirmation.

A planned pause in the journey

Receive. Hold. Move when ready.

  1. Receive

    Set the inbound requirements

Agree package details, handling needs, condition records and the receiving appointment.

  2. Hold

    Define the storage scope

Discuss the expected duration, cargo characteristics and release or inventory requirements.

  3. Release

    Connect onward delivery

Confirm quantities, receiving addresses, delivery windows and authorisation to release.

From enquiry to movement

Clear from the start.

Coordinate inbound freight and receipt

Plan onward delivery and release

Planning your warehousing distribution

A planned pause. A connected next step.

Storage requirements should be discussed alongside the incoming freight. Describe the cargo, package or pallet count, handling needs and expected storage duration. Make clear whether goods will leave in one movement or need separate releases to different receiving addresses.

Sea Logic coordinates storage and onward distribution arrangements; this page does not claim ownership of warehouse facilities. Availability, handling capability, inventory requirements and pricing need to be confirmed for your consignment and location.

Before you request a quote

A brief we can build on.

  • Cargo type, package or pallet count, dimensions and weight
  • Expected storage period and any special handling conditions
  • Whether stock leaves together or in separate releases
  • Delivery addresses, receiving contacts and booking rules

Understand the scope
Space & handling

Ask how storage units, inbound handling and outbound handling are assessed. The number of pallets alone may not describe the full requirement.

Scope & availability

Sea Logic coordinates arrangements with the relevant parties; this is not a claim of owned warehouse facilities. Location and capability are confirmed for the actual cargo.

Changes in duration

If the receiving date moves or releases are split, revisit the agreed scope and timing. Tell the team before goods arrive if immediate delivery is not possible.

From Australia to your customer

A planned hold before your export

Discuss pre-export storage if cargo is ready before the sailing or needs to be brought together before dispatch. Provide the packing format, expected duration, handling requirements and release date. Agree which consolidation, packing and terminal transport activities are included; none should be assumed. Sea Logic coordinates suitable arrangements, subject to provider capability and availability, rather than claiming ownership of a warehouse.

Useful to know

Your questions.
Answered.

Can storage form part of my freight quote?

Yes. Include the expected storage duration, cargo details and onward delivery requirements in your enquiry.

What if my receiving date changes?

Let your Sea Logic contact know as soon as possible so storage and transport arrangements can be reviewed.

Can storage bridge a gap before our warehouse is ready?

It may be an option. Share the expected dates, cargo characteristics and location so availability and suitable handling can be assessed.

Do you own the warehouses described here?

This service describes coordination of storage and distribution arrangements, not ownership of warehouse facilities. Confirm the agreed location and provider arrangements for your shipment.
